About (2025)

I started my professional life as a sound engineer and illustrator, but was quickly drawn into the (then) new world of digital animation for film and games. I have followed a long and fascinating career in Hollywood’s film world.
I have breathed cinematic life into various monsters and comic characters for Ironman 3, Captain Marvel, Gregory the Gargoyle in Sandman’s first season, and contributed to world-class films, such as Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival, in various roles from animation artist to CG supervisor and Animation Supervisor/Director. I practiced my craft in the most renowned studios in the VFX world: Digital Domain, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Scanline VFX, Framestore, and Rodeo FX.
This extraordinary journey through the magic of CGI and film production has also given me invaluable experience in managing multicultural teams of creative people. As an experienced manager, I excel at mentoring talent and effective communication.
If there is any time left, I love to go for long hikes in the forest and enjoy cooking. I am curious about foreign cultures, but I increasingly dislike flying. Having grown up with literature and jazz, I also love writing in all its forms. I earned three UCLA certificates in screenwriting, creative writing, and film production and am currently working on a novel, short stories, and essays.
